On the New Jersey Governor’s race, I do hope there is a challenge.
There seems to be irregularities in several counties in New Jersey where 11th hour votes were poured in overnight to flip the clear Republican victory into a loss for Jack Ciattarelli.
While I prepare for the worst in New Jersey, after having my 2019 Vote for President Donald J Trump’s completely dismissed and uncounted to this very day, I can say this… Today, I will register to change my party from independent to Republican.
This way the actual disenfranchisement we face won’t seem as palpable, knowing I am sending such a clear signal, somehow even if our votes in Murphy’s captive NJ are skewed and/or repressed once again.
Knowing what I know now, I feel all Black Americans should return to the GOP.
I now realize why my father was a Republican for so long. It was one free Democrat brunch in PA that convinced him to flip later in life.
I’m certain my Father would be appalled with recent results if he were still alive:/
