Richard Allen is my hero and I feel that every American sould read Allen’s eulogy for George Washington.
When the plague threatened to hamper the Revolutionary’s War of indepenance, Allen did his part for the Revolution.
Philadelpha Blacks were organized into a well armed militia and we made sure plague ravaged bodies were buried guickly to aid the fellow Revolutionaries we had joined with in the fight.
At last, Allen and his AME group’s brave and decicive actions helped deliver the American victory.
Likewise, another great Philadelphian, Father Devine, jumped into action and fed all of Philadelpha, REGARDLESS OF RACE , during the Great Depression.
In Devine’s Soup Kitchens his members were dedicated to saving thousands of lives on the east coast NO MATTER WHAT COLOR.
